Needs something to keep the paper from rolling back onto the roll after you tear it. I would not purchase this item again.Simple design. Easy to get as little or as much towel as you need. Never misfeeds or tangles like a unit with a lever. Never have to fight with it with wet hands to get a towel. Had one in my garage for many years, and was glad to find they are still for sale to get more for my new shop.By the way, why am I being asked to rate a towel dispenser for "Stretch"?I didn't like this unit in my kitchen because of the way it tears off 60~ish% of the time it would pull back up and you'd have to reach in and unroll a bit thus contaminating the roll.My father however likes it just fine in his work shop and isn't bothered by it's poor design he says "It works great as a holder that's all I care about"For myself I spent a little extra money and got a manual supported pull down unit from the same company and couldn't be happier.This particular Towel Dispenser fits my needs very well. I can pull whatever length I require and its effective !Its all manual, no electronics, battery, and its less bulky when attached to the wall. So far, I'm pleased with my purchase.The product is easy to install and load. However, it is not easy to use. You have to put your hand deep in it to find the paper. It also looks big a bulky. It will dispense endlessly if someone keeps pulling at the roll. Also not great at tearing off the paper. I would have returned but only realized this after installation. The natural inclination to pull downward to dispense towels never allows contact with the cutting teeth leading to excessive product waste.Great dispenser for my garage. We bought one that precuts the paper for us....less usage.It works as expected.Basic but great product.Good！
