I ordered the smallest rugs and should have ordered the next size, as these are very small. Still, they do the job I need them to do and are extra soft and luxurious. They do not have backing on them, so if they get too wet it ends up on the floor beneath it - especially if you have a child who likes to dump water out of the tub, lol. RecommendSoft under the feet.I got this mat for my dog. She is a senior Cairn terrier and when she eats, her feet sometimes slip out from under her. This has helped some, but it is not really non slip on my laminate floor. And, after a few washings it probably won't have any of the rubbery stuff on it at all It's ok for what I needed and it is the right size and soft so....I purchased this rug for my son’s dorm room but I had to buy another rug for his roommate and him because it would not stay in place. I should have returned it but the mistake was my fault and there was no time to order the kind of rug that I prefer. No big loss.For the price, these are a solid buy. I bought these to put into a display house. They look nice, and are definitely non-slip and those are the qualities I most wanted.
